I'm still here!

First off let me just note that I have been INCREDIBLY busy lately (as you can assume) so fear not I'll respond to all comments and check out all your blogs and all that you've been up to after I finish writing this, because, to be honest...I miss you all. Yes I've admitted it! I MISS YOU GUYS LIKE CRAZY CAKES!!

so last post I left off on the morning of Graduation so I thought I'd show you some highlights of my Highschool graduation!

To begin, I go to an all girls school in Honolulu called La Pietra: Hawaii School for Girls

Its a small school on the slopes of diamond head and its just lovely.

I'm also in a tiny class, in sixth grade there was only 13 of us and I graduated in a class of 25.

Since I live in Hawaii, my school takes a more traditional Hawaiian approach for graduation. We wear Muu'muu's, haku leis, maile leis and are barefoot the entire ceremony

living in Hawaii, I find this extremely sweet and sentimental 

plus, lets be honest, our outfits are much cuter than cap and gown.

Our class song was a medley of Come Sail Away by Styx, The Call by Regina Spector and Count on Me by Bruno Mars, which at first I wasn't crazy about, but it ended up sounding really good!

We also perform a hula,

and believe it or not, I took hula lessons for 6 years!

So we had a guest speaker and two speeches but the main thing I was focusing on was getting that diploma!!

AND I GOT IT!!

you're looking at an official La Pietra Alum/High School Graduate!

And I couldn't be more excited!!

The best part about a graduation in Hawaii is after the diplomas are given out and you are greeted by your friends and family

because in Hawaii you get leis!

Its how you celebrate here!

I got flower leis, fake flower leis, candy leis, inflatables, feather boas, and even a gold chain from my friend Aja

I was tickled bright red in excitement! So many of my sweet nice friends showed up and it just warmed my heart knowing that I have so many people in my life that care about me!

and on an awesome note, I DID NOT CRY! AYYOOOOO

So since then it has just been a busy whirling dervish of excitement and busy-ness

the day after grad I started my new job, which is at this local boutique called Cinnamon Girl which has been crazy! I've never worked retail before and I never realized how fun/scary/exciting it can be! All retail workers deserve A LOT of credit!

I also went to a surprise birthday party for my friend Sasssman at PF.Changs

and the next day had DOUBLE grad parties,

first for my friend Caitlyn

then for my friend Allia, but I only took one picture there and it was with my best friend Tem

that day I wore this sassy dress from Armani Exchange

I felt like a real housewife!

the rest of my time has just been spent either: working or with my best friend!

but I promise to blog more! After today's closing shift, I don't have work till friday!

Oh and tomorrow I'm doing something with my hair, so be prepared for a surprise!

One Hell of a Week!

So I need to summarize the past week, since I havent been on

and since it was crazy eventful!

so starting from last week Tuesday,

it was the awards assembly at my school!

Every department has several awards and I was fortunate enough to receive 3 awards! Crazy eh?

I got the creative writing award,

the onstage theatre award

and the social studies award!

My parents and I were so excited!!

I was on cloud 9!!!!!!

Then I sold one of my flower crowns and went to a pizza party that night!

Homemade pizza and awesome company is seriously the best, almost better than Cat Steven vinyls on repeat! 

Then came Wednesday

This day was my last official day of school and to say it was awesome is an understatement

My mom wanted to get a photo of me on my last day of highschool ever

oh and this is what my uniform looks like incase you were wondering!

So typically the last day of school is used to sign yearbooks and our last uniforms! I got hands drawn on my boobs and a drawing of Morgan Freeman on my thigh

It was just a fun, free, full of spirit day!

We are seriously passionate about donuts and being seniors.

Partying went down

and at the very end of the day we rang our school bell, as a class

It was a really sweet way to end a really sweet day!

Then I had a job interview to get too!

so I blasted out of school and to the interview 

and after it was done, on my way home I got a call offering me the job!

I start tomorrow at a local business called Cinnamon Girl and I'm excited! I've never worked retail before! So I'll let you know how that goes!

Then that night was exciting cause I picked up my best friend in the entire world from the airport.

I made him this sign

and we wore matching t-shirts!

So after waiting for him in the airport for an hour, we were finally reunited! AND IT WAS AWESOME!

We then went drove home to an awesome playlist of our favorite songs  and then chilled at my local park at night!

Now onto Thursday 

I woke up with my best friend in my house!

So then we got all sassy,

and headed out for a day on the island!

We drove around, visited friends, stopped at many parks

Then we stopped at Kaimuki! We visited GoodWill and we purchased a velvet button-down, the Waynes World soundtrack AND this little friend

A HORSE STICK!!!!!!

His name is sir beastington!!

Then my beast got us slurpees

Then we smoked some hookah

and I made this little gem!

It was awesome

then we headed back up to our favorite park

CHRISTMAS TREE PARK

And I convinced him to take his shirt off....just for the hell of it

Then I dropped him off at a school thing and I napped

then we hung out later and he slept over agian

then onto Friday

so I had one more final to take before I could get my diploma

so I woke up,

Dropped Tem off, 

Took my final

then onto graduation practice

then onto the University of Hawaii Lab School's graduation

I knew a ton of the kids that graduated so it was really fun to see them all graduate!

Especially my dear friend Forest

Maria is extremely passionate!

That night ended with a good cry and a long drive with my sisters

Gosh I love sisters and my swagger wagon!

Then Saturday that was a very chill day

I didnt do much

I slept a lot

and my night ended with getting ice cream with a few friends and a nice long drive

and I actually really can't recall what I did on Sunday

but Monday was the senior reception where I schmoozed and cruised with my teachers wearing this bouncy pink seer-sucker Betsy Johnson dress

THEN my sister Kelsey and I were feeling like Bad-asses  so we got all dressed up and headed down to waikiki for a piercing!

Today!

I woke up this morning and went to the senior breakfast

I didnt take many pictures of this memory fest

Long time no blog eh?

blerg.

blerg is how I've been feeling.

This past week has been such a roller coaster of emotions I feel like crying out of happiness, frustration and anxiety just writing this.

but alas, I'm a blogger, and I think yall should be informed of my life and my wear abouts for the past week 

so bring on the blerg

okay so starting LAST LAST friday the 13th

someone had the idea of dressing 90's because ya know,  it was our last free dress fridays, I was given my free dress privileges back and it was worth celebrating  

so I was super excited, I love 90s fashion so much, plus its like an extra spirit day!

so I thought, why the heck not.

But then when I came to school, I quickly realized that everyone else forgot.

so here I am wearing this.

while everyone else is in casual wear

But, then, when my confidence in my friends was at an all time low, I see Karissa and she just warmed my heart.

Not only did she look fabulously 90's BUT SHE WORE COWPRINT

if this isnt a true friend/soul sister, I don't know what is

She is wearing a vintage red turtleneck

along with a cowprint vest and skirt from a local consignment store

and yes that is a foot tattoo you see, here is what it says

"when you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you"

anywho then I had an insane weekend that involved me drinking with a teacher but since I left my camera locked in the drama room, I'll explain using .gifs

so I went to this bongo drum session called "yogarden" with my dear friend Maria
I saw my exboyfriend
so atfirst I was like this

and it was like triple awkward talking to him, I died, I never ever planned on ever seeing him again so that was quite the shock
BUT

and after dancing a lot he texted me asking me to hang out and I was all

so then we drove over to his casa, but it turned out to be a quiet wine party which fine BUT THEN one of his friends brought his drunk sister over and his drunk sister also happens to be one of my teachers WHICH IS AWESOME
so I was all

it was just awesome
so then the party got old, and we headed to our fried Aja's
she threw a mini houseparty
I ended up cuddeling with new friends
but then I finally slept

 Then at 6 I woke up in the arms of that weirdo and felt gross
so I got outta bead and headed to my car, walking in the early morning in my party dress I felt like I was in skins


then I showered went to my other friends house and ate a reeses nutella banana crepe


and then I drove all the way home listening to Simon & Garfunkel

it was quite the night

Monday rolled around and after a regular school day and a dentist appointment I went to a peer leader banquet at my school

This whole year I was a peer leader for my school, which means I got a  middle school hui (or homeroom) and I got to mentor the kids sorta, We led discussions with them, and went to camp etc...

so this past monday was a reception for all the peer leaders were they gave us Seniors awards and some people cried and we ate lots of pizza.

It was fun!

it was at my school and it really was lovely

I wore this vintage dress that I bought on haight street

with the craziest collar

I felt very regal

then they gave us innertubes and so me and Karissa felt inclined to stand like Demons.

After the party thang

we headed back to Karissas house where I saw for the first time ever, a very clean Karissa room!

It was a beautiful full moon
